ORLANDO IRSULA

As President & Founder, Orlando Irsula is the stable force behind Obem Foods, Inc of Miami Springs, Florida.  Following a long career in the ethical pharmaceutical industry as a biochemist, Orlando is applying his technological and business acumen to the food industry with the help of his son Milo. He has two graduate degrees including an MBA and has been certified as Food Safety Manager and a NEHA HACCP certified technician. He currently oversees regulatory, safety and client/vendor relations.

MILO IRSULA

As VP Business Development, Milo Irsula provides the energy and enthusiasm to keep the business thriving and growing.  Milo has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina and has been working in the food industry in various capacities for the last 16 years. He is a self-proclaimed foodie and loves to engage potential clients or anyone that would listen in a friendly discussion about his food passion. He is currently working in the day-to-day operations and sales.

DIONIS REYES

Our Head of Operations is also the employee with the longest tenure. Dionis has seen the evolution of the
company through his 16 years in the company first with the Wolars and then under Obem Foods, Inc. Dionis
breathes organization and logistics. He often comes to work on Monday morning with a complete weekly schedule
of what’s going to happen on the production front without even seeing the orders that may have arrived during the
weekend. When he’s not thinking about baking, Dionis is often traveling to exotic locations tasting foods at every
opportunity and looking for his next adventure. Dionis is certified as a Food Safety Manager.

NELSON MATO

Nelson is our Head Baker. He has been working with the company for 12 years and knows every intricacy of our
products. Nelson is often designing new ideas and finding ways to make our plant more efficient. He is passionate
about food and cooking to the point that when he finds himself with extra time in the day he often works as chef
at restaurants in Miami Beach. When he’s not working, Nelson enjoys quality time with his family and quiet times
at home. He is also a Certified Food Manager.

ABELARDO HERNANDEZ

Abe is a jack of all trades. He is always willing and responsive to meeting his coworkers needs in whatever fashion
is required. Abe also knows a lot about desserts and our production schedule but we often joke with him about his
knowledge and appreciation (as well as his consumption) of Cuban coffee. When he’s not at work, Abe loves to
exercise to stay fit and healthy. He has been with the company for 10 years.
